The shroud of mist with petite
raindrops hitting her
raindrops hitting her
black cloak, washing the
black heart
in the grey twilight of the night
undressed some new faces,
sacred, this hour,
clean hearted.
Who says evil this mighty night is?
The grey rain a sinner?
The dark birds sing of the morning
break off, who denies?
The daughter of the sinister bathes
off her lineage and flies
to the love, worthy.

I adore "The grey rain a sinner?"
I definitely like this. Who says, indeed? Oh yes. The next challenge, talking the talk and talking the walk, walking the walk.
I once had an affair with a married woman and we kept that mostly under wraps for two years. The story is complex and not easy for some to understand. I would do it again if it was again 1999 and me of that time in my life. I would not do it now.
This affair had a purpose and that purpose was accomplished.
Who says it was a "wrong thing"?
Ohhhhh HELL yes!
love it...
the details, and the ending, they are handsome.
wow - raw emotive words
Mystery.
That's right, who says the night and the rain are negative? Beautifully done, Monika.

'washing theblack heart
in the grey twilight of the nightundressed' fabulous imagery in your words.
No one is beyond redemption, and no one beyond the grasps of love. She might be the Devil herself, but Love shall make her ascend to those golden enchanted shores.
Nice read.

Curiously, this seems to be an extension of the way I interpreted the prompt :) Maybe that made me a bit biased towards it, but I don't care... I loved this!
