Possibility

As a child I confused probability and possibility
for a kid like me, there were no laws
governing the outcomes and models and science
They tried to be over-friendly with the same motive
as to rob a child of his perfection,
to exercise science with only experiments,
maths with only probabilities.
Now I know why I preferred possibility-
It was a kid’s slope to his garden,
a silver spoon to run from the sick warden
the abandoned world however caught his sight
nullified the science of playwright
The kid did what he could do,
watched solemnly
as they fed discriminated infinity
into a simple possibility.
Now the world runs on their probabilities
But the children don’t care,
children like me
children like you.

Probability and Possibility - never gave much thought to these ... your posts made me think now :-)

I do, still. In probabilities and possibilities alike.
